The Role
I have really enjoyed this year, I have gained so much from it.
Felt like part of the team.
My supervisor has been great in all aspects.
Quite busy, but I much prefer to be busy.
I have been given quite a bit of responsibility as I have planned my own time and experiments.
I have learned so much this year and I think it will definately help in my final year and if I decide to do a Phd.
The Company
Our office was quite quiet but others are more chatty.
Very well organised, no hicups yet.
My supervisor spent a lot of time when I first started helping whenever needed, also they encourage you to go to different areas of the company to learn as much as possible.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
I would love to work at GSK but there are not any R&D jobs available.
The Culture
every weekend there was something going on, and even during the week groups of us will meet at the pub.
Not too expensive, however when going to london obviously the prices increase.
not a great variety of places to go, but with our big group of friends it didnt really matter.
I have been playing netball with people from work, however there were no department activities.
