Overview
I was able to gain deeper understanding different sectors: private banking, portfolio management, and financial planning and work with wealth managers, investment and lending specialists and other colleagues to complete projects and presentations.
Skills
I have been able to network with colleagues from different sectors and functions of the bank, and understand more about each of their unique roles. I was also able to develop my collaboration and communications through undertaking specialised training and business projects.
Responsibilities
I think we were given some good amounts of responsibility during the internship, to take part in meetings within different management teams and also participate in various project and opportunities.
Support & Guidance
We received a lot of support and guidance during the internship, from line managers, the early careers team, those on graduate schemes, as well as colleagues from different departments.
Culture
I really liked the tight- knit and nurturing company culture and atmosphere of the bank, and I think they made us feel supported and welcomed throughout the duration of the internship.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my internship to a far extent, as I think it is very well organised and well-structured. Not only were there many spotlight sessions, there were also many projects and opportunities in place that we could participate in.
Yes
I would definitely recommend others to apply to the bank, and my advice would be to take notice of the CPCs of the bank.
