Overview
My primary responsibility is to support the EY snowdrop project on the sales cycle of all change requests and new deals. My secondary responisbility is to support the Talent Transformation service line in their business operations.
Skills
Yes I have learnt how to adapt and be agile to new situations. I have improved both my written and verbal communication. I have also learnt how to effectively plan and organise events.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given a lot of responsibility to plan organise and lead events. With client work, I worked independently and was trusted with many important tasks.
Support & Guidance
I recieved a good amount of support whilst on placement but there was also a lot of times where I was independent. This was good for my own development and I reached out to people in my team for their assistance and they were happy to help.
Culture
Very open and friendly with no sense of heirarchy. I was able to talk to everyone in the same manner whether they were senior or fellow interns.
Your Impressions
Very much enjoyed my placement, there were many opportunities for me to enjoy events outside of work. The work itself was fufiling and helped me to develop as a person.
Yes
Make sure to properly research the company and communicate your passion to the interviewers. Don't just focus on previous work experience, also focus on other team building activities and sports.
