I help my team perform valuable analysis that is used to assist management in their decision making and guides the business forward
Skills
I have developed my communication and presentation skills as I put together information packs to present to my team. This requires initiative and creative thinking to put complicate ideas into simple, easier to understand terms
Responsibilities
Yes. I was given my own tasks that I was completely responsible for. I have to manage my own time and set deadlines as well as set up meetings with co-workers throughout the business when I wasn't sure where to go next
Support & Guidance
I received plenty of support from my team. Being in the office means I am always surrounded by experienced staff who are always willing to answers any of my questions
Culture
The company had a very open culture. As an intern I got to speak to senior management and the CEO of the business. There is a vast amount of support from co-workers and people are always willing to make time for you when you have questions

I really enjoyed my time at abrdn. I made friends with the other interns and my team and learned valuable skills that will help me in my career in the future
