Overview
Most often is sofware development wfh - with the ability to work in whichever language you're most comfortable with. As well as this there is live-stream production in which I operate OBS during live showcases.
Skills
I've greatly improved my programming skills, learned some basic video production skills, and have improved my communication skills via giving workshops to school kids on occasion.
Responsibilities
Quite a lot of responsibility - the main project i worked on towards the end of my placement was a key piece of software required for some future plans.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support available when needed - very small department so constant and easy contact with the line manager who was happy to offer support when needed.
Culture
Great company culture, good work-life balance, everyone seems friendly, people are rewarded when they do well.
Your Impressions
Enjoyed it greatly and looking to return after graduation
Yes
It can be hard work but it is quite rewarding.
