Overview
Overseeing different types of audits and where risk occurs, whilst implementing and testing controls that may help us mitigate these risks in future.
Skills
I have developed my communication skills and presentation skills, as we are constantly meeting with our team and sharing our ideas.
Responsibilities
Not massively, however there were a few tasks given that had to be completed in a timely manner, but nothing unachievable.
Support & Guidance
A lot, especially from my buddy as she has been constantly checking up on me and including me in the tasks she's doing.
Culture
Very helpful and calm. I didn't feel huge amount of stress or pressure and was given a reasonable amount of time to do tasks.
Your Impressions
I have loved every second of it. The flexibility has really boosted my confidence within my team and I feel that I can go to anyone with a question, even those not in my team.
Yes
Go for it. It might seem daunting due to the application process but it is so worth it in the long run to work alongside such amazing people.
