The Role
Given the chance, I would work for GSK again in the furture.
The tasks I was given contributed to the business, which was commended by colleagues.
Good management allowed me to progress quickly into the role and increased my enjoyment of the placement.
I was never bored at any point during the year however was supported by colleagues when the work mounted up.
The skills did not relate so much to my overall degree but will help a lot when seeking further employment. I have gained an understanding of how a global business operates.
The Company
I have been based in a large office where everyone has been very supportive and happy to help.
Very well organised, I have had a continual supply work work throughout the year with a balance of projects and day to day commitments.
I was assigned a mentor who aided in my personal development throughout the year.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
I have been put on the fast track graduate scheme with GSK.
The Culture
There are 12 other placement students on site and we regulaly engage in social activities.
I was able to find very cheap accommodation with 3 other placement students.
20 mintue train to Brighton!
