Overview
I would usually have a team meeting in the morning, then after afterwards I would do any work we needed to to that day, for example doing a site visit, or writing reports, or using excel to produce documents about our assets.
Skills
Many general working skills like communication and time management and problem solving. But I also learned how to use different software like GeoRINM (a geotechnical asset software) and Hubble (a vegetation software). I developed my Excel and report writing skills.
Responsibilities
Yes I was, for the work I was given, however it was always checked and reviewed.
Support & Guidance
Support was given when asked, very read to help me out with a teams call.
Culture
A lot of older people, not many young people even in their 20’s. But it is a good friendly atmosphere from the staff.
Your Impressions
It was enjoyable at parts, you have to make it what you want to and take the initiative to network, if not there is not much work to do.
Yes
Make sure you network within the company to get the most out of your experience
