Overview
We manage all kinds of bookings from corporate, private rental to courtesy cars. While doing this we have opportunities to sell protection packages that enhance our skill to sell. We learn a lot about the business and the logistics of what it takes operating such as things like running the fleet making sure we have cars on time etc
Skills
I have learnt how to sell for sure. The amount of customers I was able to serve really helped my confidence in product knowledge and showed as results started to come. I’ve developed my customer service skills even more and things like inputting data and actually having an affect on it
Responsibilities
Definitely. For a 3 month stint I was in charge of managing any insurance bookings that came through. Making sure we were able to hit our KPI’s by keeping up to date with our customers through delegating with the team. Was also able to look at fleet health making sure our vehicles are serviced/MOT’d and shopped if any damaged. Running the fleet was my favourite making sure cars were on time

Given all the support you can imagine from existing employees to all of the management teams and even people who don’t work at your branch
Culture
Team felt like a family. Everyone got on no one had issues and if there were we’d squash it that week and move on.

Really enjoyed the whole placement. Giving me responsibility and having showed my results really made me feel good and definitely would go back after uni
