Overview
A week in London with welcome sessions introducing you to the firm and various networking events. Two weeks in home office undertaking various legal tasks for two teams and doing a group presentation, which was the only form of formal assessment.
Skills
Yes, continued to develop basic legal skills but the highlight was gaining commercial insight into the firm and its operations.
Business Insight
Overwhelming but extremely useful, we were given ample opportunity to speak with employees throughout the business and several talks on the business, sectors, clients and potential roles.
Culture
Excellent, the firm lived up to its values. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. More than that, people were very supportive in giving general advice and helping me with the work I was given.
Your Impressions
Extremely, we were well-taken care of in terms of food, events and accommodation. Everyone I met was friendly and eager to take the time to speak with us.
