Overview
I was in charge of building out the corporate tax returns which would then be filed with HMRC. I was also in charge of calling HMRC to obtain information concerning the client I was working for and their specific tax returns. The rest of the work was just miscellaneous tasks for juniors and seniors and joining client calls to take notes.
Skills
I have developed my accounting competencies, learned new software and grew.
Responsibilities
I was given a great amount of responsibility during the internship, working on my own desired clients.
Support & Guidance
The team was incredibly supporting and there were always resources available.
Culture
The culture was very relaxed and collegiate.
