Overview
At the start it very EY focused with the interns attending lots of online calls with grads, about EY badges. It then becomes more focused on your team and you begin getting work. Its also expected you try and fill your time with catch ups and calls with people within EY. You also work on a Case Study thats presented the final week.
Skills
Networking. Learn about your sub-service line. Presentation skills. Excel.
Responsibilities
You would complete work and it would be checked.
Support & Guidance
Your buddy is the main point of support and guidance. Mine was really. You also get a well-being call during the internship
Culture
Friendly. People are chatty and want to talk about the work and what they do. Its busy and sometimes people can be on edge. This was a summer internship so we were all University students, I did have some people talk about the uselessness of a degree which is understandable but I found that strange to say to students.
Your Impressions
It was fun. Would have been nice to be longer. Honestly it was hard to get sent work and quite a challenge at points to have people send us stuff to do. The office is very lovely and enjoyable but there were low points without much to do.
Yes
Know EY. Be curious.
