Overview
My role is very varied depending on the team that I am in rotation with. It normally consists of attending many different clients meetings, attending internal meetings and completing pieces of work to assist team members. Start at 9 and end by 5.
Skills
I have learnt a lot of more technical skills regarding tax and immigration. Improved my communication and public speaking skills a lot.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given access to edit many important documents that were designed for our customers as these would be reviewed again further up the process. I was also asked to complete many other research projects and create materials for clients.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance, with everyone explaining what they do / are doing in very basic terms so that I understood. I had a buddy and counsellor to help with any of my issues or answer any questions I had but the whole team was very welcoming.
Culture
Very open and friendly teams who love to communicate and help each other in any way possible.
Your Impressions
I loved my time working at EY and could only wish that it was a longer time period than just four weeks so that I had longer getting to grips with each team.
Yes
Don't stress too much they are a very friendly and approachable firm who just want you to succeed! The assessment center is not as scary as you may think and your partner interview is more like a casual chat!
