Overview
I work on paid social, mainly on google search. I work to ensure our promos go live on time, and work to improve the BAU copy of our keywords and brands. I also work on paid search, working alongside stakeholders and brands to create ads that run as conversion media on Facebook and Instagram
Skills
I’ve learnt and developed many skills. Mainly, my presentation skills have increased tenfold thanks to this placement. Other skills that come to mind are teamwork and communication; this time requires a lot of communication in order to effectively do your job. Finally, I would say I’ve learnt time management, and how to properly use your time and how to use it in the most effective way
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement. This involved being the leader on multiple processes, and even leading on my own project which was very important for the division and company.
Support & Guidance
I got a lot of support and guidance during my internship. The company culture is extremely friendly and welcoming, which resulted in me feeling comfortable asking for help. Every member of staff, especially my managers, gave me lots of support and help when and where I needed it.
Culture
The company culture is really friendly and welcoming. Definitely much nicer than I was expecting, especially for such a large company!
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement, and I am hoping to come back on the graduate scheme! I’ve learnt a lot of skills and the whole experience has been invaluable.
