Overview
Start the day with a daily stand-up with team. I was given a project to work on over the summer which I would do after the call, also sometimes when things are slow I would pick up tasks on Jira. Sometimes there are more meetings throughout the day
Skills
Learnt how to do to validations with Java beans and create my custom constraint validator. Should also learn more about Containerization.
Responsibilities
Yes, i would pickup task on Jira which i would work on individually, if i needed help i could ask. Also the intern project was entirely my responsibility
Support & Guidance
Team members were extremely friendly and open to jumping on a call whenever I needed help, would also provide links to resources that would be helpful.
Culture
People are very open and are down for a chat.
Your Impressions
So far enjoying it. I like the fact that its hybrid and times are flexible. I liked i was given tasks that I could complete on my own so i learnt a lot.
