Overview
looking at different aspects of the fixed income financing business and attempting to reduce costs within the business. Also, supporting the traders by evaluating process and starting different initiatives to streamline the business processes.
Skills
Yes, I have improved my excel and Visio skills. I have also improved my communication with others. I have also become more knowledgeable about the fixed income financing business particularly the process of repos.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given different projects and freedom to do my work. I have been able to apply my skills to these tasks in my own way. I also always had items to work on and complete.
Support & Guidance
I received lots of guidance and was always provided answers to questions that I had. My manager and teammates always looped me in on projects which was super helpful.
Culture
welcoming and friendly. Promoted asking questions and hard work.

I enjoyed a lot about my placement. The people that I worked with were a huge help in my development. Also working on the trading floor is a phenomenal experience.
