Overview
At the beginning of the internship we spent 4 days in the London office, this consisted of talks from various stakeholders within the firm globaly, we also had a litigation simulation which was highly engaging and a briliant way to collaborate with other interns. After the 4 days, you return to the office you applied to. You get to participate in two practice groups, it is a great way to get an insight of the work which you will take part in if you sre offered a Training Contract. For the entire 3 weeks all meals were provided for and you are also assigned a budy to aide you throughout the internship.
Skills
I have significantly developed various skills, including legal research and drafting various legal documents.
Business Insight
It was a lot of fun. Everyone one was really kind and welcoming and wanted to help you succeed in the Internship, it gave me a great insight into not only the manner in which work is conducted at the firm but also the culture and environment which are fundamental in deciding the firm you would like to join.
Culture
It was fantastic. It is clear that the firm not only hires the brightest individuals but also those who are kind and genuine.
Your Impressions
I highly enjoyed it and would encourage everyone to apply!
Yes
To not try to make yourself into something that you think the firm is looking for, but to make sure that you are being yourself.
