Overview
Calling candidates/clients to see how the market is. Mapping out the market mentally and on software like Excel & Powerpoint
Skills
Cold calling, sales techniques over the phone, improved communication skills, how recruitment works, interpersonal skills, confidence, organisation, time management, resilience
Responsibilities
Yes
Support & Guidance
Fantastic support from my manager & team.
Culture
Not much of a culture but had great relationship with team. The culture seems to be drinking oriented which wouldn’t work for some religious people or people who don’t like drinking
Your Impressions
Enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. Always very busy and learning new things. It’s a placement suited for ambitious individuals that want to make money and have good communication/organisation/time-management. I’m glad I did this instead of a marketing internship
Yes
Sell yourself to them, they want to see your sales skills and how you can portray yourself to them. It would be similar to portraying yourself to a client or candidate.
