Overview
The SVS was an introduction to the role of an IT Auditor at Deloitte. Day-to-day, we were tasked with assisting engagements of large PLCs, attending walthroughs with the client, using EMS to update workpapers, engaging with the firm and its various social projects, and interacting with the team to learn as much as possible.
Skills
I have learnt a lot about Information Technology, particularly how to audit IT systems.
Business Insight
It was enjoyable and rewarding talking to various individuals from across the firm, including partners who are always willing to take questions and give feedback.
Culture
I was surprised with how friendly and positive everyone in the firm is, always keen to help you and make you feel comfortable as you adapt to work life.
