Overview
Working as part of an audit engagement team. Day to day activities ranged from supporting team members in running tests, carrying out client confirmations, relaying information and support requests to clients, and maintaining work paper trail on internal systems.
Skills
Great developed excel skills. Used to opportunity to develop collaboration skills as well as improved time management and professionalism.
Business Insight
The entire experience was highly insightful. Personally managed to learn about the internal work processes, gained an in-depth understanding of client business model and functions. Also learning about the numerous internal opportunities and various career paths and seld-development avenues that are available within the firm.
Culture
The company culture was highly people focused even though it is a typical corporate firm. Everyone is willing and motivated to provide support and takes a vested interest in the development of peers and junior employees.
Your Impressions
Was left highly impressed by the whole experience. Exposed me to an environment which boosted my self-development and learning. Opened my eyes to new opportunities that exist within the space.
