Overview
A day will be composed of one or two organic syntheses and monitoring these reactions. Data analysis conducted parallel to these experiments. Further tasks include laboratory administration.

Yes - carried out personally designed experiments and were responsible for some key laboratory tasks.

Regular one-to-one meetings and constant communication with supervisors.
Culture
A great office environment with everyone trying to reach the same objectives as a team. However, it felt like the team was separated from the rest of the company’s ambitions and communications.
Your Impressions
I loved the people I worked with but felt that I did not achieve my full potential in the placement.
Yes
For this role, there are a lot of organic syntheses and so you have to love them. You need to be safety-minded. Relevant chemistry knowledge is not absolutely necessary.
