Overview
Help with external project, involving joining client meetings, team meetings and coming up with solutions to deliver success.
Skills
Developed listening and communication skills. Learnt how to engage with clients in a professional but friendly manner. Developed IT skills.
Responsibilities
My manager was great with getting me more involved with the project as I grew into the role and gave me lots of responsibility which helped me feel part of the project.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support, my manager was keen to support me from the moment I arrived and talked me through the whole process and project. We were given buddies as a mentor scheme and my buddy was great with supporting me through the internship and answered all my questions well. Everyone at EY is very proactive in supporting us interns.
Culture
Great. There is a good culture in the office of being helpful without necessarily asking for help.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the whole internship. It was a fun but also very useful insight into Consulting and financial services.
