The Role
I have had a brilliant year working with great people in a great job.
Plenty of laughs and really accepted into the team
My Manager helped me grow in the industry and gave me the skills which I will need for a sucessful career in the food industry.
Work was fluctuating but that is too be expected.
I was given more resposibilty than I ever thought I would be given!
I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience which will help me throughout my future career
The Company
Bit tense at times due to changes in management but most of the time we had a lot of fun
GSK have students each year and so know how to look after them and make the most of their experiences
No end of scope for self development
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I managed to extend my placement and they were very happy for me to do so, and previous placement students at GSK had also come back full time.
The Culture
Too many people were busy but when we did manage to all get together it was a good laugh
Too many socials in London causing money to go and can be difficult to commute in from anywhere cheaper to live (Expensive living/cheap travel or cheap living/expensive travel)
Brentford had very little in the way of nightlife but not too much of a challenge to get into London
There we some opportunities but nothing that took my interset
