Overview
Each week we were assigned to a different project, where we were given a member of staff to "shadow". We would have daily catch up calls with them, and they would assign us tasks to complete throughout the day. We would also join them in client calls, however in most instances we would just be observing the calls.
Skills
Learned many soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, etc. Developed some technical skills as well, such as understanding many different IT environments.
Business Insight
At the end of the scheme we may be offered a graduate role in the same area we have been working on during the internship. They also make sure we are aware of all the other business areas and roles at the company, and it was explained to us that we would have the opportunity to move to other areas after joining.
Culture
Everyone is incredibly friendly and willing to help at all times. The staff are very busy, but will always make time to answer any questions or provide any help with tasks.
