An introductory scheme into life at Deloitte, and your chosen service line. A huge emphasis is placed on ascertaining your career aspirations in the firm, and you are actively encouraged to use this time to network within the firm.
Skills
Networking skills, Excel skills, communicating effectively
Responsibilities
As this was an introductory scheme, there was not much responsibility given as it was difficult to get involved in a project in its entirety.
Support & Guidance
Good amount of support from the Early Careers team, my People Leader (line manager) was incredibly supportive as well.
Culture
Everyone is generally very friendly, and always open to chat and converse about their work and life at the firm.
Your Impressions
It was enjoyable. Despite it being rather short, and therefore one was unable to get immersed in a particular engagement, it was an excellent insight into the firm and a great opportunity to build your network
Yes
Be curious, and always seek opportunities to develop yourself.
