Overview
The day starts with a gathering at the reading office where breakfast is provided, and a speaker brings us into one of the rooms for activities. It includes sharing what life was like in Deloitte, and sharing from the partners and new analysts who joined Deloitte a while back. There was a programme booklet provided and we could jot down our thoughts and there were many discussion sessions that allowed us to connect around.

Business Insight
It was quite interesting to realise actually how big Deloitte is. Due to its size, they have pretty much every role available to offer. It could be in Tax, Consulting, Audit and so much more. Talking to a partner, he told me that there could be enough mobility around the company as Deloitte would want talents to stay within the company, although not in the specific division, rather than the talent going to some other company.
Culture
People are genuinely supportive of each other. Due to the size of Deloitte, very often the resource/network that may be needed to complete the deal is somewhere around the firm, and people are not sure when they would need them. So it would be normal to be helping each other, just ask.
Your Impressions
The spring into tax program was overall enjoyable. It was fun, and there are many chances to break the ice and know my peers around me. There are activities to challenge ourselves, know the firm better and also very good food offered.
Yes
Be yourself, do not act like somebody that may be 'ideal' for the situation, because we cannot 'act' all the time during the program. Don't be too nervous and enjoy the ride!
