Overview
I was part of the cloud engineering team, developing, maintaining and generally looking after the cloud infrastructure employed by the mortgages platform and its applications.
Skills
Yes! Cloud Engineering, Agile Development, Scripting, Personal and Social Improvements etc!!! They are all put to the test at LBG, and I feel much more confident to get into the industry following my year at LBG
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given the freedom of ownership of multiple new performance monitoring applications that gave us the insight needed to properly manage our cloud infrastructure, including diagnosing issues and watching out for strange behaviour
Support & Guidance
I recieived lots of guidance, my colleagues are amazing and always there to support me if I was stuck. They were very happy to let me get on with my work and not feel a need to shadow my every move, but never forgot that I am a student and would leap at the chance to help me if I needed it
Culture
Amazing. I have never been happier in a job. Coming from a few toxic part-time jobs, LBG was fantastic and I WILL be going back to work there!
