Overview
I worked within Software at IBM. The product team that I worked on provides integration products to businesses that are run on the cloud. The day to day role was dependent on the issues assigned to us during the daily scrum meetings, but during my placement I got to work on a range of different tasks.
Skills
I have learnt a range of skills such as Cloud Computing, programming, team working and presentational skills.
Responsibilities
I was given responsibly for the issues that were assigned to me and the projects that I worked on during my time at IBM.
Support & Guidance
The learning platform yourLearning at IBM contains a range of different certifications, that can be used to support your technical knowledge in the day to day role, I also found that the colleagues were always happy to help when I needed help.
Culture
Very positive environment, there are many different events and opportunities available which provides an active atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my placement and would recommend anyone applying to placement/internships to apply.
Yes
Be natural, and show your interest in technology and software development. There is lesser focus on prior experience but more on passion.
