Overview
My role involved supporting associates and directors in the deal making process. I sometimes had to work on decks for client meetings, other times I did client research, as well as data gathering. I used excel and powerpoint the most in my role. In addition to this I worked on several internship projects designed to develop my understanding of the corporate bank.
Skills
I developed my presentation and excel skills, as well as learned some credit-analysis related skills.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given responsability through working on several impactful projects which relied on me to deliver a good result.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support, everyone was willing to help out when I needed and had a lot of catch-ups to make sure I was on the right track.
Culture
It was very supportive and collaborative. People get along very well and everyone works towards a common goal of succeeding as a team. I did not encounter any situations of toxicity in the work environment.
Your Impressions
It has been the best experience I couldve asked for. I learned so much about banking itself and gained hands-on experience, all while meeting so many people who i will keep in touch throughout my career.
