Overview
I participate in the annual review of the financial models that are used by the bank for equities trading. This involves understanding the model, documenting model changes and reviewing its assumptions. I also do some testing to make sure the model performs as expected.
Skills
I am enhancing my financial mathematics and derivatives skills by reading new materials, and learning new skills such as coding.
Responsibilities
Yes, since I participated in projects that are vital for the team, and worked on documents that are quite sensible
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support from HR, with lots of training and weekly sessions being scheduled, and my line manager and team were very supportive as well.
Culture
There is a great culture, people are happy and there is an amazing work-life balance for a job in finance

Apply early, practice as much as you can the numerical and psychometric tests, familiarise yourself with the Barclays mindset and purpose, be natural and friendly at the interviews
