    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I was given different groups to work with, some smaller audits, smaller larger audits, where I helped out in the execute phase of the audit, completing different tests of details, and checking over where work was done before to check it was correct, also attending several group meetings, gaining an insight to audit as a whole

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I massively developed my communication skills as a result with working with several different teams and participating in group projects and group meetings, my technical skills were also improved as I became more accustomed to the work the audit teams were completing. I learnt new presentation skills as I was inexperienced here before, but got good experience presenting ideas to my teams

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given big responsibilities with having to email the clients we were doing the audit work for, and was present in several important meetings, it gave me a really good insight to the work audits were completing. I was also given many tasks that the people I was working with would have completed, so it felt like I was definitely contributing to the overall audit.
