Overview
I am within the residential development teams, my specific team is new homes. Involved with listing properties for sale online for developers we represent, attending meetings with clients and weekly recaps with my team, site visits, pricing strategy, comparison schedules and market research.
Skills
I have developed approapriate business etiquette when attending meetings, i have developed my technical skills when using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the Knight Frank database (Hub). Expanded my knowledge of the residential aspect of real estate advisory, gaining a more in depth insight of what it takes to take on a role within residential surveying. Improved my commercial awareness, seeing the market and how it operates first hand.
Responsibilities
Yes, operating call outs to potential clients gaining first hand experience in how to manage client relationships. Completing documents eventually shown during pitches to developers. Pricing strategy used to price developments before they were launched.
Support & Guidance
Constant - all of the early careers team were so readily available and eager to help. My senior members of staff were hugely accommodating of any queries or issues I had and the buddy system worked well.
Culture
A great company culture, completely embodied a partnership with all members of staff at any level willing to help anyone and give their time/thoughts.
Your Impressions
It has been the most incredible experience, excitement everyday due to so many opportunities to learn. An inclusive culture making you feel comfortable within your teams. Left me wanting to continue.
Yes
Definitely give it your all, I was totally inspired throughout my time and for me making the most of every opportunity on offer was key, saying yes to everything and throwing yourself into anything will allow you to get the most out of being at Knight Frank.
