Overview
Gaining practical experience at PwC. This largely involves shadowing client projects and doing menial tasks such as formatting, Google Sheets, Slides, etc. Networking with your colleagues and peers is an important part of the role too. There is also an Intern Purpose Challenge where you are divided into teams to help local social enterprises with a business challenge.

Responsibilities
Depended on the team - some were more trusting than others. Tasks were generally low-level or menial but with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy.
Support & Guidance
Extremely good support. The buddy and career coach systems work really well in providing practical and emotional support during the internship. The Transformation team is particularly lovely and supportive.
Culture
Amazing, friendly, diverse and inclusive culture. Upbeat and proactive atmosphere with a team subscribed to the PwC values.
Your Impressions
To a great extent! My fellow interns, as well as the wider team, were absolutely lovely and really hardworking. I gained a lot of practical experience alongside fantastic social opportunities. A particular highlight was the meetings set up with high-level women to ask them about their experiences.
Yes
Just be yourself and do your research - it's as much to see if they're a good fit for you as you are for them. If you care about a strong company culture and meaningful connections at work then this is the place for you! The application process is rigorous but 100% worth it.
