Overview
Assigned to a project and contributed by completing my section of a shared spreadsheet. Daily catchup meetings with the team, as well as occasional individual meetings with senior members of the team to give me individual feedback.
Skills
Yes - became much more proficient with Excel/spreadsheet skills having to use them every day. Also developed networking skills by interacting with many PwC employees and fellow interns.
Responsibilities
Yes - the tasks I was assigned to, I had lots of responsibility which I enjoyed. The senior members who assigned me those tasks seemed to trust and respect me, which motivated me to ensure my work was of the highest quality.
Support & Guidance
Lots - very happy with my support + guidance. I had a 'buddy' who showed me the ropes with simple stuff like submitting time sheets, claiming travel expenses. Also my career coach advised me on career path etc., and I met a couple of senior members of staff who gave me their advice too. Was also easy to ask for help when I was stuck on my task
Culture
Nice culture, everybody is willing to stop + have a chat, the team I worked with were very good with responding to any queries I had. I liked the culture and atmosphere a lot
