Overview
Sit it team and perform all tasks required. A lot of the time you have to make the effort to get to know the team and seek out work. You can get involved with client work, business development, team meetings etc.
Skills
I have learnt a lot more about my line of service, as well as general skills such as excel and presentation skills
Responsibilities
i was involved with a lot of client work - which was often very important for the team. however, this was always overseen by a more senior member of the team.
Support & Guidance
I had a buddy and a career coach, both of whom supported me and were there for any questions I had
Culture
My team was very friendly. I was given a warm welcome and every made an effort to make me feel included. I was even taken out for lunch on my first day
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement. I didn't think PwC was for me, but now I want to come back
Yes
Make sure you check what PwC wants from an intern, first of all. Check out what they say about the LoS and about PwC's own priorities (ESG's etc.) and make sure you prioritise those and mention those during your interview process. Also, try to put the client first, be outgoing (but still a good team member), and ask for work. You get out what you put in
