    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Not too much since within deals the work is either confidential or too high level. I was given two research tasks to do and one where I had to calculate financial ratios of a few firms and create a slide which was good. The intern purpose challenge was a good way of getting us interns stuck into the full lifecycle of a piece of work.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The culture was amazing, ive honestly made such genuine relationships with the people in such a short span of time. This allowed me to really enjoy time spent in the office. The offices themselves are really nice too. People definitely work long hours though, most of my immediate team ate lunch at their desks and most people stay past 5.30pm everyday. However the benefits of flexible working make this not so bad.
