Overview
I interned at PwC for 4 weeks in the CDAR division of Risk. My daily tasks included controls testing and shadowing client calls with my managers. I was also part of an Intern Challenge.
Skills
Yes, I was able to learn more about Internal Auditing and Control testing. I was also able to communicate more effectively with clients/ my team and network with professionals.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was assigned specific controls daily and was able to contact the client with requests on my own.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support and guidance in place. I was always able to reach to my career coach or managers for help or additional work.
Culture
The culture in the Risk LoS was great, very calm and friendly atmosphere which made me feel welcomed from day 1.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship. It was a great way to discover the company, the culture and the work it does for its clients.
Yes
Just be yourself. You are appreciated for who you are and the culture fits everybody. Be truthful about your abilities, and make sure you ask for help and guidance whenever you need it.
