The Role
Really worthwhile experience!
There's a certain level of competition between people but you're often reminded that you're being assessed on a common set of competencies and not between each other.
They are always around to ask questions, particularly during networking events.
You don't really have a spare moment to yourself all day!
You work in teams constantly so responsibility is up to you.
So useful, learnt a lot of communication and business skills that I otherwise would not have experienced.
The Company
Feels like the fun is a little bit forced at times but generally the people you're with will lighten the mood.
Extremely organised, everything ran very smoothly.
They put in a lot of time and effort into developing your skills.
Very appealing, provided you pass the assessments taken during the placement, you are guaranteed an internship the following summer.
The Culture
Lots of networking and social events in the evenings.
Everything is provided for you, including drinks vouchers in the evenings.
We're not allowed to leave the area during the Academy but there is a lot to do in the evening anyway.
Not so much, there isn't a lot of free time.
