Overview
Summer vacation placement for one week. Conducted trainee solicitor tasks, met with teams and attended networking sessions with colleagues. Participated in training sessions or workshops designed to enhance your legal skills and knowledge. Conducted research on specific legal issues to support ongoing cases or provide insights into potential matters. All the colleagues at Shoosmiths were very welcoming and supportive to our development on the vacation scheme. My experience has been a positive one .

Yes I have expanded on my commercial awareness and social mobility initiatives. I feel more confident conducting analytical research and working in a legal environment
Business Insight
Learning about Shoosmiths business model and their Diversity, Inclusion and ESG initiatives was an interesting opportunity to see the firm for its true values. I had conversations with associates and partners which really helped to gain further insight to the roles at Shoosmiths
