Overview
The first two days were spent learning about the different voluntary groups within TikTok, such as BytePride, Blxck and Women at TikTok. This helped me to understand how diverse & inclusive TikTok is and how it caters to all of its employees. The following two days I spent shadowing the E-Commerce (Creator Operations) department. This included developing key skills used to plan a fashion & beauty campaign such as trend analysis, budget & execution, & creators research. We chose a fashion and beauty brand that hadn't launched on TikTok Shop yet, so we were looking at how these brands would integrate themselves onto the platform. At the end of the 2 days, we presented our campaign ideas to key stakeholders, providing detailed information on the products and creators. The final day was a celebration day where we had a early career opportunities session as well as the Q&A session with the graduates cohort.

Very insightful! Multiple career sessions held throughout the week was very valuable as the early careers team shared a lot of detail about the different internships and graduate roles as well as various employees hosting sessions about themselves. Through this, I also learnt about the different roles.
