Overview
The role involves working within a team of financial analysts and working on a project for the course of your internship. The project is an active piece of work that is useful to the team and business. Day-to-day the project will often involve using excel or learning the software the company uses.
Skills
I started as a beginner in excel and I am now very competent in using the features that are particularly useful to financial job roles. I have also learnt good communication skills and work management.
Responsibilities
Yes, you are in charge of organizing your own time and meetings.
Support & Guidance
The early careers team and finance leadership team provided a lot of resources and scheduled lots of useful events during the internship. Everyone in the office was very friendly.
Culture
Extremely friendly, relaxed and comfortable. A very good working environment.

I enjoyed the social aspect and atmosphere of the role which I didn't expect going into a financial internship.
