Overview
Daily stand up meeting, coding work, refinement of incoming work (to break down large problems and understand issues more clearly) and client calls to showcase work done
Skills
Picked up new coding languages Worked in an agile delivery company
Responsibilities
Lots of responsibility given to me as the things I have made have ended up on a client's public website (which was cool to see). You are treated fairly like your colleagues (who aren't placement students)
Support & Guidance
Guidance and support was available when you ask, but sometimes it would take a while to get a response based on how busy a person is
Culture
Amazing, there are alot of social events put on and people at IBM are very friendly. They are all easily approachable and its easy to find a common ground with people
Your Impressions
It was amazing, would do it again if I could
Yes
Try to get a portfolio of some sort to showcase your technical skills when applying for a dev role (like github). Speak about your soft skills too, rather than only just your technical hard skills
