Overview
During the work experience at BDO we were given the chance of exploring various sectors of Accountancy. For example, Tax, Audit and Advisiory. This was split into the three days. We we're able to gain a lot of knowledge and insight and talk with experienced individuals in that sector.
Skills
I have developed analytical, communication and teamwork skills. Through the groupwork task we we're given an extract that we had to do an SWAT analysis too. This helped me to gain many skills.
Business Insight
It was very interesting and exciting learning about all the different and various potential roles. This allowed me to understand the various roles available.
Culture
The company culture was very nice and lovely. They were all very encouraging and enthusiastic when interacting with all of us.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the virtual work experience with BDO as it helped me to gain deeper understanding into a career in Accounting. I learned a lot of knowledge and skills that I will take into the future.
