Participating in team calls and in person meetings Overshadowing all members of the team. Completing courses in preparation for a task - to acquire a basic understanding of the context

  • I'd say a considerable amount of responsibility was passed on, and letting me become proactive about solving any issues. Whilst also providing support and recommendations on the next steps ahead.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Very approachable and welcoming when I started the internship Always are happy to answer any of my questions and help me clear out any misunderstandings Outside of the team, when reaching out to other staff from other teams, everyone was happy to find some time to speak to them about their careers and their role within the bank.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my time. The internship provided a good opportunity to network with other individuals and understand what their team does. I feel alot more confident about how a bank operates and its inner workings, which I probably wouldn't have achieved if it weren't for the internship.
