Overview
On a day to day basis, I worked on tasks given by my Principal. I also networked with other employees at the firm. In addition, I attended team meetings. Furthermore, I also attended talks which gave me a greater insight into the firm and its practice areas.
Skills
During my time on the vacation scheme, I developed my time management skills. In addition, I also improved my collaboration and communication skills. Furthermore, I learnt a lot about the different areas of law, which developed my expertise of the subject.
Business Insight
I felt that, considering the size of the firm and its work, it was relatively easy to understand all about the potential business and potential roles available at Linklaters. This was because the senior lawyers at the firm took the time to carefully distil the information so that I could comprehend it.
Culture
The culture and general atmosphere at Linklaters was really welcoming and friendly. The people there were always willing to answer any questions I had.
