The Role
I was given a large range of jobs to do ranging from everyday tasks to organising events and helping with projects
A good balance of support and being left to get on with everything
Increased as time went on. Towards the end I had a lot of responsibility.
More than you can write really!
The Company
Great - everyone was very friendly, a nice atmosphere to work in.
Considering I was the first student in the group which I worked for, it was well organised
I was given external and internal training, some mandatory, but plenty of opportunity to complete other courses. I took a creative writing course to improve general grammer etc which was very useful - all paid for by the department.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I went for the graduate scheme and have been accepted
The Culture
Yes it was great, there were about 18 students on the same site as me, doing science, IT, statistics.. A wide range of people, made some great friends
It was much more expensive than university, but that was to be expected as it was non-student accommodation, and near to London. Socialising depends on where you go - always somewhere reasonable though
Not the best to be honest, but within reach of places that are better!
There was social club which held events like quizes and sports teams.
