Overview
I would always do something different everyday, working with different teams, managing different stakeholders and working on different projects. I worked in the Business Management area of Data & Analytics so I worked under a high level view of the UK Transformation team. I would complete dashboards, work on team projects, analyse data and communicate with stakeholders.
Skills
I have developed my excel skills, dialing into the analytical skills. I learnt Qliksense skills and creating visual data dashboards. I learnt how to use Power Tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. I developed my PowerPoint and presentation skills. I developed both my Time & Stakeholder management over the past 8 weeks. I have grew in confidence and learnt how to successfully network.
Responsibilities
I was given the perfect amount of responsibility. I was able to work on real projects that are being implemented into UK CMB and was able to work under my own initiative and not be micro managed.
Support & Guidance
As much as I needed, from all relevant stakeholders (Placement manager, grad buddy(s), and my OPM, as well as Emerging Talent and other graduates, non-ec employees).
Culture
Fantastic. There was a great speak up culture and inclusivity culture. The bank and the people helped me overcome my imposter syndrome and I always felt like I truly belonged here.
Your Impressions
I loved it. It exceeded my expectations as I didn’t realise there would be so many opportunities available to me.
