Overview
Jumped around different audit teams helping out the audit team where they needed me
Skills
Improved excel skills, working in a team, accounting basics and how an audit takes place
Responsibilities
It really depended on the team that I was put in, some managers were happy to give me some more responsibility and others were less happy to.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support and guidance, all managers were happy to answer questions when I had them and no question was too silly. Managers were also dealt with me asking lots of questions.
Culture
Company culture was very good, everyone in the office was very chatty and again no question was too silly. All members of the different teams I joined over the 6 weeks were very inviting and willing to help.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it a good amount, at times there was not a lot of work for me to do, but we are mainly there to absorb information and learn so this is understandable.
Yes
It gives you a good idea if this is something that you are going to want to do as a career, give it a go and see if you enjoy it.
