Overview
I was a technology consulting summer intern at PwC. On a day-to-day basis, I was involved in building in-house assets, performing quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Skills
I have improved on my presentation skills and I have gained invaluable experiences in the job sector that I worked with. I have also received training and earned certificates for certain technology.
Responsibilities
Yes, and I believe this is how an internship at PwC differentiates from other firms. My ideas are recognised and involved in the planning and my contributions are really driving forwards an agenda.
Support & Guidance
I have received numerous support from my supervisor and peers. PwC has an excellent culture of working together. Even if the people whom you reach out for help do not have the knowledge about what you ask for, they will refer you to their network to the best of their knowledge.
Culture
If you are an extrovert and enjoy talking to people, you will enjoy your internship at PwC. (Not saying introverts are unable to enjoy). Usually we will reach out to other associates for help. We are expected to reach out to other associates and managers proactively in order to find projects that we are interested.
Your Impressions
I have enjoyed it to the fullest
Yes
Apply early, the places are competitive.
