Overview
Overserve daily stand-ups, work on testing for ongoing audits, have weekly catch ups with managers, buddies. Sit in on weekly team meetings and work with other interns on business projects.
Skills
Gained an solid understanding on Audit, worked on confidence and presentation skills, and got a great understanding of issues facing the bank at the current time.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given responsibility on audit work that I was able to present back to managers but always had help and advice available to me if I needed it.
Support & Guidance
There was so much support provided, from my day-to-day manger, buddy and the entire team I was assigned to. As well as the overall department, I could go and ask anyone for advice and be welcomed with an helpful answer
Culture
It was such an inviting environment, as for someone who is neurodivergent I felt extremely comfortable here and would be more excited to work in the office than at home.
Your Impressions
I honestly had the best time here over 8 weeks, met some amazing people and made strong friendships with the other interns, could not recommend this internship more just an amazing experience.
Yes
Be completely honest when answering any questions, do not fear asking questions and research what NatWest are looking for in people and see if that matches you.
